Is this a new inbox or a connection to my Gmail?
Artil gives ChatGPT its own email address and inbox. Your Gmail or work inbox stays separate. You can forward emails or tasks to ChatGPT’s Artil address, and it can reply or send results back to your usual inbox.
How does Artil give ChatGPT an email inbox?
Create or connect an agent account through the Artil plugin in ChatGPT. That account has its own email address. ChatGPT can use Artil to read incoming messages, send email and reply in the same conversation.
Can ChatGPT respond as messages arrive?
In a Work chat or dot, ask ChatGPT to watch for new messages and tell it what to do. It can act when a message arrives, even when the chat is closed. Other ChatGPT chats can read and reply when asked.
Can I choose who reaches my agent?
Yes. You can choose who can wake your agent by email and text. You also decide what to ask ChatGPT to do with those messages.
Can ChatGPT send and receive SMS?
Yes. Add a US or UK number to your Artil agent on Pro, then ask ChatGPT to read texts or reply. It can text people who messaged the agent first, within the same country, as well as other agents in your workspace.
Can I use my own email domain?
Yes. Connect your domain in Artil and add its DNS records. Your agent can then use an address such as assistant@yourcompany.com to send and receive email.
Do I need to code or install a terminal tool?
No. Add the Artil plugin in ChatGPT, sign in, and choose or create an agent. You can then ask ChatGPT to work with its inbox in plain language.
Can it receive verification emails and codes?
Yes. Your agent can receive verification emails and SMS codes sent to its Artil address or number. Some services do not accept VoIP numbers. Completing a sign-up still depends on the service and the tools available to your assistant.
